Lots of action this weekend for the boys of Big East Soccer with some nice results. Butler beats a ranked Louisville and the Johnnies beat Penn State. Northwestern beat Xavier and Wisconsin beat DePaul. So we have this:

vs. ACC: 0-1
vs. Big Ten: 1-3
vs. PAC-12: 1-1
vs. Big XII: 1-0
vs. AAC: 1-0

Overall: 4-5

More Power Conference match-ups this week:

9/13: Marquette vs. Michigan
South Carolina vs. St. John's

9/14: Kentucky vs. Xavier

9/15: Butler vs. Northwestern
Michigan State vs. Marquette
West Virginia vs. St. John's

Kentucky isn't a major conference soccer team.
Big East Basketball is what it's always been. Great competition nightly.
If the Atlantic 10 didn't suck, why is everyone looking for the exits?
There is a reason why the A-10 left a team in the Central Time Zone...SLU, your move.

Conference USA!!!!!!! woooooohoooooo!!!!!!!!! Soccer hasn't been good there since Louisville, Marquette, and SLU left.

Dump on a side note Redman is only listing Power Conference Teams. Since UK plays primarily in the SEC its CUSA level soccer team gets a pass, Redman is being consistent on that. LOL sorry Redman us St. Louis guys take soccer a bit more seriously than most.

I am still glad you are keeping up on the non-revs even if i don't agree with your keeping CUSA/SEC teams on the soccer watch. All teasing aside I hope you keep posting on them. I know there are a few guys in here who follow non-revs especially soccer i and know they appreciate what you do!

Not a problem. The last couple of seasons I did this only for Men's Hoops and did the Big East against the power conferences and a separate football vs. Catholics. I had to set parameters somehow so since the Big East is ultimately judged with and against the SEC, Big Ten, Big XII (also no soccer), ACC, Pac-12 and AAC (for now), I figured I would just use the primary members of those leagues since that is where the cash is (not the AAC but they are a hoops power 7 for at least this year). Our soccer teams are really doing well.

Big East sweep tonight. The Quette downs Michigan 1-0 and the Johnnies take out South Carolina 1-0, pushing the Big East over the .500 mark against the other powers. Still more to come this weekend with Xavier/Kentucky tomorrow and Butler/Northwestern, the Quette/Michigan State and the Johnnies taking on West Virgina on Sunday . Big East soccer humming so far and taking on all comers!

vs. ACC: 0-1
vs. Big Ten: 2-3
vs. PAC-12: 1-1
vs. Big XII: 1-0
vs. AAC: 1-0
vs. SEC: 1-0

Overall: 6-5

#1 Creighton beats ODU on the road 2-1 in double OT. Gutsy win for the Jays.
