Saw that. Fascinating that of the many who predicted the BE's demise one of the cornerstones of their argument was us being on a 2nd rate sports channel. For a decade I sat back and watched the team I love in crystal clear HD, on a well-produced platform, and was able to watch the entire league slate over several days/nights a week. Meanwhile the ESPN content focused on 3-4 programs (Duke, UK, NC, KU) and I watched former conference mates struggle for national TV exposure. It's been a GREAT partnership, and may be one of the key reasons we have succeeded. I really hope we keep the partnership in the next round.

Amen to all. Plus, not having to listen to ESPN's "talent" has been been a blessing to my sanity. Fox's crews watch the game, they don't spend the entire 2 hours hyping the next Duke game.

FOX/FS1 has been great for the Big East. With the addition of the Big Ten to FS1 and the Big 12 in 2025, the network is not known as the Big East Network as some said in 2013. I hope Val can strike a deal for years to come. While streaming is growing, this paywall thing is still only for die-hards. TNF/NFL fell 40% in viewership. The Big East would suffer in a paywall.

WWE’s SmackDown on Friday nights would be returning to USA Network next year, FOX seems poised to fill the void in that time slot with college sports. Big Ten & Big 12 will land on Friday's. More likey Big Ten. Also, look for the Big East to have basketball on FOX on Friday nights. This starts in October of 2024.

The quality of broadcaster in ESPN, 2, U, etc. has dropped significantly over past 10-12 years.

I've only watched a few games on ESPN since the split, pretty much only when Nova plays someone like Temple at their home.

It's painful how biased the announcers are. They don't even pretend to give both sides a fair shake. I think the opponent radio feed is probably better listening.

FOX can't be very happy with MLB playoffs without Yankees, Mets, BoSox, and the Cubs.
