The Hall's Biggio to the Hall

Surprised this has gone by with no discussion. Craig Biggio is the first Big East baseball player enshrined into the Baseball Hall of Fame. He is a Seton Hall alumni.

Bob Gibson was a 2 sport star at Creighton. He played with the Harlem Globetrotters before focusing on baseball where he had a HOF career.

Nice picture, but Gibson played zero games in the Big East and went into the Hall L O N G before Creighton even thought about being in any conference. I believe they were independent at the time Bob played at Creighton.

Gibson was a stud! He brought it every game. I have heard funny stories from Tim McCarver about how Gibson didn't ever want Tim to visit the mound.

Loved the way Biggio played. Tough, gutty guy.
